We aim to get your film travelling far and wide and our choice of festival strategy packages is set up to help you find the perfect fit.

JETSETTER PACKAGE
If your film has a submission budget of either £1000* or £1500*, and a longer film festival journey ahead of it - then our Jetsetter package is for you. The two sub fee budgets dictate a different service cost.
This package is suited for those with a higher budget for film festival applications, looking for a more in-depth and comprehensive festival strategy.
With this package, we can provide you with a more comprehensive tailored film festival strategy, covering approx 8-12 months worth of festival deadlines (which is potentially up to 18 months’ worth of festivals taking place).
BACKPACKER PACKAGE
The Backpacker package is for filmmakers with a festival submission budget of £500*.
This package is suited for those looking for lower costs for a more immediate and lighter strategy.
Whether you have already begun submitting to festivals, or need a nudge in the right direction, with the Backpacker package we will provide you with a tailored film festival strategy with more of a focus on festivals who are immediately open, so you can begin your festival journey sooner.
*Please note that our service costs are separate from your submission fee budget. The submission fee budget is the amount of money that you will be spending on festival fees, and what we will be researching to.
The Process…
We are only considering films completed after 1st January 2024 right now - if in doubt always ask us. We are also only accepting live action, animation, and documentary short films under 30mins. We are not accepting features.
Your film will then go through our review process which is as follows; one of our team will watch your film and provide feedback for free. If we feel we can be of benefit to your project we will invite you to book a video call with us (which is still free). You will also receive feedback if we are passing on your film.
Please note that our feedback is an assessment of how well the film can be received on a competitive circuit from our strategy perspective, and our ability to help guide the film. We’ll let you know we’ve received your film, and we aim to get all new films watched within 7 working days from date of confirmation from us.
Next Steps…
We’ve watched your film, we’ve sent our feedback to you showing interest, and you’ve booked a videocall with us. This is a great opportunity for us to answer any questions you may have, but also to delve a little deeper into your goals and expectations of your circuit journey. It’s also nice for us to be able to compliment you on your film face-to-face!
And then…?
If you’d like to join our Slate then you let us know and we can prepare your paperwork. We will ask you to send us a signed contract, payment, and required film information, and then the research can begin. Your designated strategist (whomever watched your film and you had a meeting with) will research the best suited festivals for your film to put together your festival strategy. This will be delivered to you as a working spreadsheet document so you are able to keep it up-to-date when you implement yourself. We take into consideration assets such a country of production, run time, genre, age and nationality of the director, where the film was shot, what it was shot on… A whole variety of variables which means we’re fully exploring the circuit with your film firmly in mind - increasing potential of selection by understanding what makes your film unique.
With both packages, we provide the tailored strategy for your film and you handle the administrative side of applying to festivals.
Then, regardless of which package you opt for, we provide ongoing professional consultation to all of our clients.
We will be here throughout your festival run, starting by adding your film to the Festival Formula Slate on our website and announcing our partnership to our approx. 13,500 social media followers.
Meanwhile, if you have any questions during the process, we will be happy to provide advice and guidance.
We’re also here to advise on your materials and can help tweak any synopsis or logline to get you best prepared to put your film out there. This also includes looking at your submission platform profiles to check they’re ready.
